Plot Summary:1940;- Laura is dismissed from the RAF, following her affair with the married Bowers though her sister Kate has better news for herself and her father whilst Alison is made a tempting offer and the Brindsleys are anxious as to the fate of David, whose ship was torpedoed. Sarah is pleased that Nick has returned safely from Dunkirk but receives an unsettling telegram regarding her husband and Pat, whose bullying spouse is still away, befriends lonely widowed Czech soldier Marek Novotny. Claire and Spencer marry in secret, though it is not a secret for long whilst Frances Barden receives a terrible shock.

这季完全是在视频网站上看的，年代剧+二战+女性一直都是我的最爱题材！有高人说此剧想玩战争题材却陷入家庭事务的泥沼；拜托这就是战时身处普通小村庄的普通女性们的生活，不拍家庭琐事拍什么？
片头曲真的好好听好好听。
