Plot Summary:Cody, a fourteen-year-old Southern kid, is pressured by his rough, carefree friends to kill a little bird. He crushes it, but instead of walking away from it, he secretly puts it in his pocket and takes it with him. His choice is unusual - does he actually care about such an insignificant creature? What will he do with a rotting animal in his pocket? And what will happen if his friends find out? This film explores what happens when the people around us stifle our compassion.
